Who knew a casual plaid shirt and an intricate beaded skirt can resemble a sense of effortless elegance. This is cowgirl chic at its' best and I absolutely love everything about it. The over sized belt buckles, the American Indian inspired over-the-shoulder bags, the metallic silver cowboy boots! These are a couple of my favorite looks from Ralph Lauren's Spring 2011 ready to wear collection.

The naked human body is being celebrated through a mixture of nature and photography in this collection of work by Los Angeles based photographer, Cecilia Webber. She has created something quite unusual and beautiful. Being shy and socially awkward as a child opened up a world of creative insight to her photographs. This time consuming editing work would have withered a lot of people. As it turns out, being different is like an exotic flower that is difficult to find. When discovered, you will cherish it and let it be of magnificent keepsake.

My studded black Corto Moltedo bag has finally found its' yellow stripes! As the son of Laura and Vittorio Moltedo, founders of Bottega Veneta, Corto spent summers working in the family factory and used his knowledge of the family business to start a career of his own. With the influence of a worldly upbringing and opportunity to learn the inside secrets of design and production at such a young age, a star is born! Every bag that he designs owns a unique and vivid identity. He is definitely one of my favorite handbag designers at the moment and I am so gay for my Moltedo Bee.

Dancer and performing artist, Tony Orrico, has made a human spirograph art with the fluid movements of his arms. Amazing patterns of symmetrical mathematical curves are created through a repetitive process by tracing the contours of his upper body or simply drawing with the wing of his arm span. He simultaneously moves his entire figure to the degree of design that he wishes to invent with infatuating precision, incredible focus and bewildering endurance. His work is truly mesmerizing art and mathematics. I am in awe!

I came across this last month and was charmed by these rings. Erin Wahed is a photographer turned jewelry designer and Bandes des Quatres is the name to remember. The vision of her debut collection derived from the Bauhaus style of modern architecture and is named after legendary architects of simplicity in design. Pretty awesome! I love seeing the rings hover across the top of the fingers and how optical illusion can influence fashion.
