Prince William and Prince Harry arrives in Westminster Abbey

The Royal Wedding! Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, and his new bride Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, tied the knot yesterday on the 29th of April 2011. Kate and her sister Pippa looked beautiful in Sarah Burton's designs. Sarah Burton is the recently appointed creative director for Alexander McQueen and I must say that she did a brilliant job for this wedding dress is fit for a princess! The simplicity of the dress is what makes it statuesque, classic and timeless.

As I was watching the royal wedding service and procession on television last night, I wondered back to the time when Lady Diana got married to Prince Charles in 1981. A time when I did not yet exist, however the fact that she was unable to witness the wedding of her son somehow saddens me. It is still so hard to believe that she is no longer with us. She was the epitome of grace and regal sophistication.
